Game Summary

On Sunday, Evansville played their first extra inning game against Fort Atkinson. The score was tied 3 to 3 going into the top of the 10th inning when Fort's shortstop hit a 3-run homerun to start the scoring in the inning. Evansville did not have an answer in the bottom half of the inning.

Evansville scored first in the third when Christian Bennett batted in Jon Frey from third. Fort scored three runs in the top of the seventh, but Evansville quickly answered by scoring 2 in the bottom of that inning to tie the game. The highlight of the inning was Jerod Steindl's 2-out double that scored Jason Schultz from second.

As for last Thursday's game on June 2nd, Evansville lost to Argyle 5 to 4. Argyle took the lead for good in the bottom half of the sixth inning by scoring 2 runs. Starting pitcher Ben Kraus lead Evansville's hitting by going 2 for 3. Jeremy Rasmussen had 2 RBIs in the game.
