EVANSVILLE HOME TALENT TRAVELS TO FORT ATKINSON TO PLAY FIRST ROUND OF PLAYOFFS

On Sunday, August, Evansville (10-3) traveled to Albion (7-6) to play a Home Talent Baseball League game. Coming into the game, the Jays needed to win to lock up first place in the West Division of the Southeast Section and to host a first round playoff game. Unfortunately, the Jays were only able to manage three hits in the game and lost 3 to 0. Evansville finished a great regular Sunday League season with 10 wins and 4 losses.

On Sunday, August 10th Evansville (#2 Seed West Division) will travel to Fort Atkinson (#1 Seed East Division) for the first round of the Southeast Section playoffs starting at 1:00 pm. The Jays urge the Evansville community to make the Sunday afternoon trip to Jones Park in Fort Atkinson to cheer on the Jays in their first Sunday League playoff game.
